Steyer Consulting partnered with Starlight Developments to provide planning and permitting expertise for two innovative rental projects in BC.
North Vancouver: Our team managed the building permit application for a residential infill project (151 E Keith Road), adding 40 new rental homes—including four units designated for vulnerable seniors—to the existing 89-unit residential tower. As one of the first developments under the city’s density bonus policy, and completed without displacing existing residents, the project set a precedent for thoughtful, inclusive infill.
Central Saanich: Our team supported Starlight’s successful development permit application for a transformative project at 2515 Hackett Crescent, which has delivered 235 new rental units on a previously underutilized site.
These projects leveraged our expertise in navigating complex municipal processes and created rental housing solutions that met longstanding local needs.
